How To Start An Instagram Business Page

So you’re hearing and seeing Instagram from every angle in 2019, but you’re kept thinking what is all the fuss about?

You’re not the only one who feels that way.

So it’s evident that the customer base is there and Instagram isn’t just a social media platform for sharing funny dog photos with your friends, so how do you set up and account?

It’s surprisingly easy and the time to value exchange is really worth it.

Instagram instruct users follow 4 simple steps:

  1. Download the app – although there is a web version of Instagram, the majority of features can only be used on a smartphone so this is where you want to be creating an account to make the most of the platform

  2. Let Instagram know who you are  – there isn’t much they need to know, simple your email address and business name will suffice to get you started, you could just connect your Instagram with your Facebook to make it even easier

  3. Set up the business profile – this is the important step, once you have created your basic profile go to settings and scroll down to ‘switch to business account’

  4. You’re all set – it’s as easy as that, you’re now free to post and visible to your followers as a functioning business they can contact for services

With a business account comes great privileges like having a call to action button on your profile, this can be Email or Call Now, as well as website links directing straight to your desired landing page.

You can also add pertinent business information such as opening hours or a business address, giving potential customers more information to ultimately make a conversion.

Once your Instagram page is established and you are posting frequently you will hopefully start to see engagement.

With a business account, you have the ability to get real-time metrics on how your stories and main feed posts perform throughout the day.

It also gives you great insight into your followers and how they interact with your posts and stories.
